It would be great to get him out of philly, he should have retired last year. If he does, hopefully the sixers will lose alot of games this year, and they can draft one of the good young big men in the upcoming draft.

Yes, the Bulls and Nets have already expressed interest should this go down.

I do, the Nets would love him, maybe the Heat or Suns if he wants a better shot at winning. If he wants minutes, probably the Nets. He could go to the Rockets and re-unite with Juwan Howard.

The Wizards maybe? Maybe they could possibly work out a one year deal or something, but bringing him in would be a cheaper version of trading Jamison and others for KG.

    Webber to the Knicks?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Peter Vecsey of the New York Post expects Chris Webber to wind up in New York once the Sixers buy out his contract as they are rumored to be considering.
Great. Yet another big man to steal minutes that would be better served given to David Lee. If Webber winds up in New York, the Knicks really deserve all the scorn that will be heaped upon them. </div>

Not sure how reliable the source is, but I don't see any reason for the Knicks to be interested in Webber [IMG]

If I was a GM, no way in hell I'd even pay this guy the veteran minimum. He's not a difference maker, hasn't been for a long time, whoever signs him should relieved of their duties.

Are you kidding, if a guy like Brian Scalabrine still has a contract worth three million, saying Webber is not even worth the veteran minimum is crazy.

There's a possibility that he will become the next Latrell Sprewell. I mean who wants a slow 7 footer who doesn't play D in todays game?

Um, I don't know. A lot of teams have already expressed interest. Although Webber isn't much of a defensive player, the guy can still give you 20 and 10 almost every night

Your worth what a team is willing to pay you, if Scalaberine got all that, I'm sure a team that is contending would offer Webber at least the minimum. He still has some game left in him.

Weird how he has just fallen off and last year at this time people were debating who should be an all-star; him or Chris Bosh. I like Chris as a player and believe he still has some game left in him, hopefully he can get bought out and find a suitable situation for him. I personally like him in San Antonio along side Duncan anchoring the paint with Elson and Oberto taking pressure off of him. Not quite sure if San Antonio would be interested in him though.

I remember that in the beginning of last season, I said that Webber is a little bit better than Bosh. Damn I must looked like retarted then.
