theres not a chance the bulls will get JO unless they give up hinrich, gordon, or Deng.

Not entirely true, as the AI trade showed last month, it doesn't take that much to acquire a superstar these days. The Bulls have the Knicks selection in the 2007 NBA draft, assuming the Knicks finish with a higher pick than the Bulls. If that pick happens to be a top ten selection then the Bulls would be in great position to pull off a trade for Jermaine. However, I don't see a trade going down until after the season is over, if one does at all.

And the Bulls would be in cap hell in a few years if they did get him or unless they made another trade giving up one of those young guys.

No way would the Bulls do this. They have Wallace manning the center spot and Tyrus Thomas waiting in the wings to emerge as a starter on this squad here soon enough. Plus, I don't want to give up youth for someone that's not going to put us over the hump. There's no point to it. I'll wait out and see where we land with the Knicks pick. I'm truly hoping to get top 2 or 3 with with, that we have a great shot at landing Durant or Oden, or having some great trade bait.

Pax already stated that Kirk, Deng and Noce are off limits to any teams on the block. I doubt they would trade any of them to the Pacers for O'Neal anyway when they could get someone better then he is at around the same asking price.
