"I didn't come here to be involved in the coaching," he said. "After last year, I think I need to step away from coaching for a while, and I'm 66. I don't know if that's what I'm looking to do." Then again, he previously said coaching the Knicks was his dream job, that he wasn't leaving the Pistons and that he was thrilled about the chance to work with Isiah Thomas, so take this with a grain of salt. </div>

Riiiiiiiiight. Personally I don't think Larry Brown will want to return to coaching, but I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a Pat Riley

Nick Saban said he wasn't going to be the Alabama coach. People lie, especially Larry Brown remember when he stated Detroit would be his last coaching job?

He's going to be on the bench is very tempting. I bet he will even call a few shots here and there. Him saying that he wont coach is ridicolous. Its like having Michael Jordan on your team and not putting him in the game.
