<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Admittedly, this is only a theory, but it certainly is curious that Dorell Wright no longer starts.

At Friday's loss against the Suns, interim coach Ron Rothstein said he wanted to get Gary Payton into the starting lineup, in place of Wright, to help defend Steve Nash.

Fine. While Payton no longer is the one-on-one defender he once was, Rothstein knows plenty about defense, so there can only be so much scrutiny of his judgment.

Then, before Sunday's victory in Portland, Rothstein said he started Jason Kapono over Wright at small forward, because, "basically, Jason's playing better."

Interesting, isn?t it, that Antoine Walker and James Posey are deactivated for body-fat issues when Pat Riley reaches his breaking point with his team?

    And then Wright is benched.

Even from afar and the disabled-coach list, it seems as if Riley's frustrations continue to impact the roster and rotation.

Has Kapono been playing better than Wright? When it comes to shooting there is no doubt.

But such shooting specialists generally are preferred as instant offense off the bench.

With its current state putting it in dire straits, it can be argued the Heat no longer can place ultimate concern in its future.

But there will be a future. And right now, beyond Dwyane Wade, it would look pretty bleak if Wright is not further developed.</div>

I think Dorrell should continure starting, his length makes him a good defender and I agree that Kapono shoulld be used as a spark-plug off the bench.
