<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Raptors coach Sam Mitchell likes what he has seen when he has summoned forward Joey Graham off the bench recently.

Graham scored 15 points and added five rebounds in Sunday's 116-111 win over the Washington Wizards and brought a noticeable energy boost to the team.

"I give all the credit to Joey," Mitchell said yesterday when asked about Graham's contributions.

"Whatever he has done the last two games, I'm afraid to ask him. I don't want to get in his way.

"If there's a secret, keep it to himself. He makes a difference because he's our most athletic guy.

"He makes a difference when he plays with the energy and effort he has played the last couple of games."

For his part, Graham relished the opportunity to play a significant role in the win.

"It gives you a tremendous confidence booster, coming out like that," Graham said. </div>

Raptors fans have seen this all before from Joey. The probability that Joey is going to have a bad game is higher after he has a good game.

It's true. Unless he can become a little more consistent, live up to his defensive reputation, and just become more aggressive, I can't see that bright of a future for golden graham.

Last year, I didn't think Joey had any future in Raptors plans, like it wouldn't matter if he was waived. If he can continue to improve with time, I think he could become a solid hustle/gritty guy who may not be a starter all the time, but still a decent contributor. I have to say I've been surprized by Joey this year.

I think Graham has shown he can become somewhat more consistant this year. Even in games where he doesn't put up good #'s he's contributing in the hustle category more frequently. As was already said by Eclipse though, there's still a long way to go for Graham.
