I admit, Wade gets some pretty stupid calls on his side. Never said he didn't. You were saying how it was ironic that was staring at the official when he didn't a phantom foul his way. The refs absoloutely despise Sheed. But he constantly moans and complains when he doesn't get them A LOT LOT LOT more then Wade does, or any other player I've seen in my life besides Sam Cassel. Phantom or not. My point, and perhaps you should read it a little closer, was that other players get a lot of bad calls their way. And when they don't get more; they incessantly complain about it. So, just because Wade drives to the basket more then any other player in the league, plays smart, and draws the phantom foul, or actual foul for that matter, irritates you? The only reason he gets so many bad calls is because he plays smart, he drives and he drives and he doesn't stop. I'm 100% positive that if Kobe took that attitude, we would be having this exact discussion about him, except where Laker fans are defending him, and everyone else is attacking. This entire double standards is really what irks me.

^ Exactly. Corey Maggette isn't a superstar or even an all-star for that matter, but he drives into the lane a lot and draws contact. Does that mean the refs are in love with him? No.

Maybe the refs hate Kobe because he treats them like garbage and is constantly screaming or glaring at them.

Because other players of considerable less statue are able to get to the charity stripe. Solely because they attack the basket. If a player never, ever takes a jump shot, ever, and all he does is lay it up/dunk, he will recored the most ft attempts that season. It's really simple as that. If you want calls, good or bad calls, attack the rim. And when Kobe, or any other players falls in love with the jump shot, you won't get nearly as many calls as the guy who goes night in, night out everyday risking injury. And you can't tell me that Wade never got hammered, because he's had some seriously hard fouls in his time. I'm willing to bet you're right. I'm a Kobe fan and I agree on the fact that Kobe gets super star calls on his side. Yet, Kobe attacks the basket up front againts defenders and many times gets calls and many times he does not. But am I the only guy that notices how many times Wade travels and trips on himself by doing that retarded spin move. OMG! It is rediculous how the refs let him get away with that. But is not the players fault is the refs fault and the nba for allowing ticky tac fouls. I remember the days when Chick Earn used to say, "If no blood no foul." Those were the days that defenders were able to defend. Now, offensive players like Wade and Kobe jump into defenders and a whistle is blown. They seriously need to change that rule. If the offensive player creates contact purposedly or because they are out of control it shouldn't be a foul.

It just a whole bundle of senselessness. All I'm really trying to say, is that if Kobe, or someone else, attacked the basket with such regularity as Wade does. Then they would get just as many calls as Wade does. And yes, Kobe and other players attack the basket a lot too, but not as much as Wade. I'm not saying it's right, because it's probably one of the worst things about the NBA today. But that's just my opinion anyway.

it's so funny how 8 year old heat fans here think that other superstars get more calls than wade. yes, other superstars get the questionable calls but not as much as wade. very simple concept.
While I don't agree with calling them "8 year-old Heat fans", I do agree with the fact some people don'tunderstand what others are trying to say is that Wade just gets more calls than others. No one is saying the others don't get calls, just that Wade gets more.

Calls went against him, and he didn't whine or get angry at the refs. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When any other player/superstar attacks the basket, they don't get the same treatment as Wade. It's impossible to argue with quite a lot of Kobe fans, because they simply refuse to acknowledge that another player may simply be better at something. why are there threads for only wade getting bad calls and not iverson, or lebron? They arent mentioned because they arent actors like wade. Wade isnt nearly as tough as iverson is so he has to make everything look so much more dramatic for the refs. I dont deny for a second that iverson, kobe, and a handful of other players get calls from the refs. But i have never seen a player flop around or act like he's hurt as much as wade. And i just dont really have any type of respect for that. i used to like wade alot but not so much any more.
