Still, you can't discount Dallas or Golden State being interested (Kidd is from the Bay Area). The Nets like Sparta's Troy Murphy, the Warriors big man.</div> Source
The Nets are desperate for a big man. Before the season, they were after Melvin Ely. Yes, that desperate. I think they would like Murphy, but his contract is the problem. When there were rumors that Foyle was going to be bought out, New Jersey was one of the teams interested in Foyle. Now you hear them mentioned as going after Chris Webber since he was bought out. Could this turn out to be another lost opportunity by Mullin in not getting Foyle bought out earlier ?

New Jersey could definately use Troy Murphy, let's just see if Mullin can work the right deal to ship him out.
Well according to Detroit news he is. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Detroit News reports the Nets are one of five teams that Webber is "considering".</div> Source

I'm not positive but I think the warriors would be off the hook of paying Foyle only if he was waived and another team picked him up before he passed waivers. But yeah I hope Mullin gets a trade done with NJ to get rid of Murphy somehow.
The only logical deal with NJ would be based on Murphy for Collins+fill. We'd save some $,eventually, but Collins just joins Foyle as a backup C mostly just of use on D.
