Jesus Christ Ray Allen. Career high with 54. We had a 14 pt lead and had control the entire game. Allen was 8-12 from 3 pt land, including 1 at the end of regulation to send it into OT. We played terrible in OT. Dissapointing loss, but I'm glad it came to Allen. A career night deserves a win, and this guy is amazing. He is one of my favorite players.... the way he plays and the way he portrays himself is great. So humble. Once again we get killed by an all star SG. Wade and Arenas up next. Boozer went 32/16.
Why the hell was Fisher covering Allen we he could miss? Put in Giri, who is at least the same size. One play Allen hit his elbow on Fisher's head coming down, WTF was Sloan thinking? Giri helped us get the god damn lead in the first place then he didn't play at all in the 4th or OT, WTF!
I don't think it mattered too much who was guarding him. AK was prolly the best choice. But on that last 3 in regulation, they ran a play where AK had to go through THREE screens if he wanted to stay with Allen. That was well executed.
The Jazz have got to do something about this. They're losing games they shouldn't and getting badly exposed at shooting guard. Redd had a career high with 57, now Allen with 54. Hopefully KOC makes a move, and fast.
