Don't look now, but we're literally knocking on the doors of a legitimate playoff spot fighting for the 8th with Milwaukee. Maybe we don't need to win the Atlantic and just get it the other way around. I think the Raptors will not win the Atlantic division, but will make the playoffs the other way, and this might actually be better. Besides, if the Raptors do make it to 8th spot, I honestly think in the East it wouldn't make a difference if the Raptors played Cleveland instead of Washington. Thoughts?
We still have a lot of games left. I think we have a very good chance of getting 1st in our division, however New Jersey (with such a strong lineup of guards) has always performed better in the regular season. We may be able to grab 8th, now that Milwaukee is decimated with injuries, but I still have my eye on 4th.
I doubt NJ is going to stay this bad for the entire season. They will put some kind of a string together sooner or later like they usually do. I think our best chance of getting in the playoffs is if we get the 8th spot.
im waiting for the magic to drop, cause i anticipate that the heat will get back into it and the bucks will obviously drop.
I honestly think the Raptors could win the Atlantic. We're over the worst stretch of our season and have a whole bunch of home games left, while New Jersey had a relatively easy schedule to start. We're just 1/2 a game behind the Nets now, which is definitely a good sign. 8th would be good but I'm pretty confident that division title or not, the Raptors will make the playoffs.
