This is Williams's second season in the league already, and with Iverson gone I expected him to get more minutes. I understand we have Andre Miller and Kevin Ollie, but with the direction this team is going, I don't understand why Mo Cheeks isn't allowing our younsters more playing time. Louis Williams is already 21 years old, which is still very young, but I had expected him to show some "flashes" of the player he can become in the future, which I don't believe has happened yet. My question is, what type of player do you expect Williams to become?

I think he has the potential to be a good player. Maybe averaging 15-20 pts. a game. He just needs more pt and for mo cheeks to help his pg skills.

I think he will, Cheeks just needs to actually give him a real chance.

I honestly don't see him being much, he is a short guy with a spotty jumper, and average play making abilities. I think he will be a decent role player at best, but I don't ever see him being a star of any sorts.

Sometimes it takes a while to players to mature and play in the league. I think he has a good chance. Mo Cheeks has to really help develop him though.

Exactly. This guy good just another decent PG off the bench in time.

I think its a little to soon to say he will be just another good bench player. If he went to college instead of the NBA im pretty sure he'd only be a sophmore this year, so thats still pretty young for the NBA. You can tell when you see him play he has tons of game, he's just still pretty young and kinda small for the NBA. college probably would have been a better choice for him, but he does have the potential to be a very solid starter.

He needs motivation though. Now that AI's out, it's his time to shine. The problem is that he doesn't have many doubters like Arenas or Jameer Nelson has. He needs to get his head together.
