LMAO Why did they sign him if they didn't need him? This is just insane that Jalen Rose couldn't play for the Suns, I think he would of been good if he had gotten into the rotation

He had his chance when he first signed and I guess they weren't impressed, he had a 4 game stretch where he was getting 20 minutes a game, during that he averaged 8.5 PPG.

I don't really know why Banks and James Jones were given so many minutes (despite their bad play) and Rose wasn't, maybe it had to do with his attitude in practice or what kind of shape he arrived in. But with Jones filling in the 8th spot in the rotation he isn't going to get any PT and I think he wants to be somewhere where he can play for a contract next year (like Tim Thomas did).

I have no problem with this move, they tried to find a spot for him, they couldn't, so why keep him around? He's never been known as a character guy anyway, so if they kept him on the bench, he'd have turned into a cancer for the team.

I think they thought he could give em a few points off the bench every once in a while. They obviously dont need him. Nash, Marion, Amare, Bell, Diaw, Barbossa. THats all they will ever need.

Hmm, as many Suns games as i have seen, James Jones has shot well and with a good percent, but you know maybe i just have seen only his best games [IMG]

James Jones only just started having good games since they went back to the leather ball (Jan 1st) he was having a terrible year before that.

    NOV: 2.5 PPG, .243 FG%, .278 3P%
    DEC: 3.7 PPG, .269 FG%, .333 3P%
    JAN: 10.8 PPG, .538 FG%, .632 3P%

Even with the great January so far, he's only shooting 33% from the field for the season. That's how bad of a season he was having. For the record, unlike most of the NBA, nearly every Suns player shoots close to 50%, that's the benefits of the system, they get easy fast break layups, the passing leads to wide open shots, everybody's FG% goes way up in this system, so 33% may not be so bad for some teams, but it's terrible on this one.

The Suns play an 8 man rotation, Amare, Marion, Diaw, Bell, Nash, Barbosa, Thomas, and now that JJ is back, he fills out the 8. There is simply no minutes for anybody else (besides garbage time).

Not really true. In Rose's time as a bench player in Toronto, he never complained about coming off the bench despite arguably being their best scorer. He took advantage of the time he got and produced even better off the bench. If he were to get a consistent 15 minutes or so a game, I'm sure that would be enough to keep Rose content as the Suns continue to win.

As I said before, I don't care. I don't like him and as we can see, the Suns don't need him.

    Goodbye Jalen.
