Had 30 pts. last night. Can this guy become a consist man for the 76ers to look upon for some extra scoring not coming from Andre or Korver?
I think green, korver, and igoudala all have a chance to become legitimate go to guys in the NBA. These guys are all still young and could turn into the best offensive option for this team. Its just a matter of green being more consistant, iggy staying aggressive, and korver expanding his game. If these guys do that and we draft a future superstar this year, who's to say the sixers wont be in the finals in a couple years?
If I remember correctly, Willie Green has struggled throughout the season. I guess he finally got his "breakout" game, but I don't think he really lived up to expectations after Billy King signed him to a 5 year deal. Although I can't really blame Green, you don't give a bench player who was injured for most of last season a 5 year deal
Green is actually performing well this season averaging around eleven points a game in 24 minutes a night. Hopefully, he gets some playing time.
Green is like a poor mans Ben Gordon. All he needs is development and playing time and he can be a great player.
<div class="quote_poster">elevate Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">but you think he can play at the level that ben gordon plays? and can he be as clutch as BG?</div> No. Willie Green is just Willie Green. He's just your average NBA player. I don't really think he's anything special. I still don't know why Billy King signed him for 5 years.

If you remember a couple years ago when AI went down, Willie Green stepped up and for a sort period of time was really playing like a star. of course a lot of things have changed since then (knee surgery, etc.) but he still has a potential to be that player provided he is given playing time. Which won't happen with the 76ers.
yeah i remember that he did pretty well...maybe billy king thought they could use him again if somethign happens to AI...cuz hes little and he gets injured alot, but that isnt there problem anymore.
Green had One good game, AI2 is the teams best player and I think he will be averaging 20+ next year, and possibly this year as well.
hes def. the best player but this may be a turning point in greens game....hes gonna get more oppurtunities with no AI and everyones gona be lookin to new guys for help scoring.
Yeah but didnt willie use to play great when iverson was injured?now hes not there so he can play consistant minutes.
I think everyone is overlooking the season Green is having overall. He is averaging over eleven points a game in just over 20 minutes of action. Translate that to points per 48 minutes and he is averaging well over 20 a night. Increase his playing time, increase his scoring output plain and simple.
