<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">ESPN has cancelled Quite Frankly, a nightly talk show hosted by Steven A. Smith since its August 2005 inception. The show?s finale was to air Friday night.

The show was once looked upon as a possibility to fill the late-night talk show void that ESPN has long considered.

Smith will stay with the network in other roles, including hosting four interview specials tied to major sporting events and appearing on network flagship highlight show SportsCenter and NBA programming.

That sucks. I wonder why they cancelled it. It seemed like a pretty good show to me [IMG]

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO................THIS PISSES ME OFF!!!!......I love Stephen A. Smith, I'd rather watch Quite Frankly than Sports Center, because he deals with a wide range of sports topics....just this past week he had a discussion panel on Muhammad Ali's legacy, and how some people viewed him as a racist while others embraced him as a hero.......that's the kind of intelligent sports talk that we need more of.......this day just got bad.

I never watch ESPN so I don't care. The few times I caught Quite Frankly the guests were pretty bad and the man's constant yelling for no reason and analysis is a joke. No offense, that's just my opinion of the subject.

Anytime Stephen A. Smith's airtime is reduced, it is good news for me.

Stephen A. Smith is a moron. His schtick is so annoying. I don't understand why people like him, except, well, when they pretend to like him to make fun of him like that lame Milt Palacio joke that was beaten into the ground like Rick James jokes from Chappelle.

I heard it was because Steven A. Smith was complaining about them not investing much, advertising wise into making the show successful. Well Steven A...its not your house any more....you got evicted.......and quite frankly its sad.
