i say Nas or Eminem. the only reason I didn't say Jay-Z is cuz I hate em. Nas is obviously proved himself to be one of the best all time and same with eminem cuz his lyrics are the best.
Chino XL Vakill Nas Common Vinnie Paz Ghostface EDIT NO to Eminem, he hasn't been good in half a decade...and this is coming from a pretty big fan. EDIT Chuck D - the man is still amazing

Eminem was up there like five years ago but he has went WAY downhill. I don't remember a bigger drop in quality from a rapper. Now for my answer that will get flamed i'm sure: T.I.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Now for my answer that will get flamed i'm sure: T.I.</div> let the flaming beging LOL....I seriously don't like this guy....I think what annoys me the most is that he thinks he's "so good" when in reality he's mediocre at best...oh well to each his own.
Eminem when he decides to make an effort. Chamillionaire put out a pretty good mixtape recently. I'm going to go with Chamillionaire but as soon as Eminem decides to change his subject matter, he'll be the best because his lyricism is still good.
Eminem = incredibly wack as of right now....his flow is dull, he's no longer creative, and he feels the need to sing or talk about his daughter in every song.
^^^that man is part of the reason why Em fell off...Em tries to be a thug now, and it's just not believable.
ummmmmmmmm common, fiasco, kanye west, anyone who doesnt rap about smokeing weed and bangin hoes all the time

Ghostface Killah, IMO. And I think Chuck D's greatness is just implied in every one of these discussions.
