Great post Durvasa. For those of you Wade critics who chose to ignore these FACTS, these stats show that out of 100 possessions Wade drives to the basket 37 times and draws a foul 19.7 times. Out of 100 possessons, Kobe drives to the basket 26 times and is fouled 15.5 times. So Wade drives to the basket 11 more times and gets fouled 4 more times. Now does that seem ridiculous? On the other hand, Maggette attacks the basket 4 fewer times out of 100 possessions, yet gets fouled twice more. Gee, I guess Stern sends out his refs to give Maggette an unfair advantage.

Not that this proof will mean anything to some of you who choose to blindly ignoe hard evidence and will continue to use bias and speculation to support your ridiculous claims.

Well that proof is for the regular season. I don't really care what he does in the regular season; champions should not win on touch fouls imo. 82games.com also wrote about game 5 if you recall, the same site durvasa gets many stats from.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">yea Maggette is good at drawing fouls but most of his free throws won't decide the outcome of the game. He doesn't take most of the shots in the like last 5 min of the 4th quarter but wade does and simply decide the result......like last year NBA final</div>
That's because Sam Cassell brings the ball up the court, and has confidence in himself as a closer, not because Maggette can't still get the same calls. Also Maggette does still get calls down the stretch of the game if he has the ball in his hands and drives in the lane.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">And yes, if one could give the Championship back to the Kings when the Lakers got those calls in Game 6 of the WCF (assuming the Kings beat their Eastern conference foe in the Finals that year); and give the Mavericks from last year the trophy, I'd do it because I want the right team winning the title. Either way, winning Championships is completely incidental (if one's teammates suck, one is screwed), all that matters is that one plays well in the playoffs.</div>
In beating the Spurs, the Mavericks themselves got a lot of "questionable calls", so it happens. What we do know is that there were a lot of people that did not want to see Miami succeed, whether they want to admit it or not, and when they did, well...

Also looking at how Arenas did today, 17 FT attempts, maybe Utah just doesn't guard perimeter players well, and allows guys to get in the lane at will, then proceed to foul them. Also Ray Allen, 12 FT attempts (and he shoots a lot of jumpers), Dirk had 15 attempts, Iverson had 12, and McGrady had 16 before that. Do we see a pattern here? They don't have a shot blocker on the interior (Kirilenko is a SF), so that also seems to be a problem.

Who are those people? One need only look at the "Favorite team" for all the people complaining about Wade in these threads. It's either the Mavs (understandable), occasionally a divisional rival (Magic), or (*shock*) the Lakers.

No I was pretty objective. I know bad calls when I see them. That WCF Game 6 the Lakers (which I already mentioned) played was BS and so was the Finals last year imo. Oh well.

I don't doubt you're being sincere. But you have to admit, this seems to be pissing off Lakers fans more than most.
