Illinois What an impressive fucking win for the Ducks! Aaron Brooks makes some of the same mistakes he made in years past, but he's really become the man on this team. Mr. Big Shot. That team is looking excellent.
Yeah, and it's tough to rank some of the Missouri Valley teams b/c all they're doing is beating up on each other, and you really can't tell who the cream of the crop are. But I love college basketball when conference play begins!

<div class="quote_poster">Schaddy Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">This is why I just dropped the Cuse thing...</div> **** me. It's like rankings Kansas over Florida. Some of this **** just doesn't make sense to me. Bama - 2 losses LSU - 4 losses Bama just blew out LSU... THIS week. I dunno man, seems like pretty basic logic to me. Sorry for being a douchebag and nitpicking about your rankings. Don't feel like you have to change them because I disagree, but I was just pointing out one that I thought you just oversaw that game from earlier this week... I mean, damn man, I'd hope you'd do the same for me...
I do appreciate your input man, but sometimes I just have to make those gamble picks. Call me the Brett Favre of college basketball pollsters I figure I may as well make my statements here, because if I'm crazy, well, hopefully you guys aren't and it'll cancel out Hey,sometimes I'm even right - I got in trouble for snubbing Xavier out of my Brackets, but look at 'em - they're looking like a middle-of-the-pack A 10 team. And I'd like to make note that now KU is > UF in my poll

I mean, my posting's been kinda aggressive and opinionated lately (even moreso than before)... that's because I really suck at getting my tone out on the net... really wasn't meaning to make you change your rankings or nothin bro... And Brett Favre is a puss<font color=""DarkSlateGray"">y</font> BTW - I was talking about those ****** up national polls w/UF... they'll have em #1 next week... ugh... BTW2 - OT - I think I may of talked w/you about this before but I don't remember... you're into both Tom Petty and RHCP... what do you think about Mary Jane's Last Dance and Dani California matching up?

I like how versatile Fruschiante is; he's great when he has that bluesy feel to his parts.

I apologize... ever since I experimented with datura, my memory has been so fucking sporadic, and that was a while ago... seriously, I don't remember what I ate for dinner... apparently I'll regain that over time though... at least that's what I'm told... anyway, are you into Mountain btw? Just sitting here taking whippet hits and listening to classic rock, etc (my pathetic idea of a good time lol).... and Mountain's got a really similar sound to a lot of groups you're into... CCR, petty, stevie guitar, etc. etc.

My guy is leaving already, so this will be the last time we chill before we get a new rommate...who is a cool guy and gets some excellent bud, but is a Bears fan.. They're definitely cool, but I like them in small doses. Some excellent bass lines, but I don't know their songs by name - one of my guys has a couple albums and we just play 'em and I've never gotten around to looking what the songs are called <div class="quote_poster">UKFan33 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, and it's tough to rank some of the Missouri Valley teams b/c all they're doing is beating up on each other, and you really can't tell who the cream of the crop are. </div> It really is tough; I want to show through my rankings how much I respect the MVC, but it's like every week each of the top six teams goes 1-1 against each other

1) Wisconsin ? 100 (4) This week's unanimous #1 team in the nation, the Wisconsin Badgers are riding high after a win over #7 Ohio State. Of course, it didn't hurt that North Carolina, who split first place votes with them last week, lost their second game of the year this past Saturday to Virginia Tech. 2) UCLA - 93 Moving up one spot in the rankings, the Bruins only have one loss on the season, and it was a road loss to #3 Oregon, which barely made a dent in their resume that includes wins over Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Washington, and a blowout of Michigan. 3) Oregon - 90 The Ducks are the hottest team in the nation at the moment, coming off of a road win at Arizona. They've had the talent to be this good for a while, but this year they've finally been able to put it all together and play as a unit. They've got the chemistry to be a legit title contender in March. 4) North Carolina - 86 After losing their second game of the year, the Tar Heels fell two spots in our rankings. The loss may have been disappointing, but their overall body of work is still impressive enough to keep them ranked over fellow two-loss teams such as Florida, Kansas, and Ohio State in our poll. 5) Florida ? 84 The Gators are the top ranked team in the AP poll, but in the JBB poll, we've had a hard time giving them the same accolades the rest of the national media has. Blowing out South Carolina was impressive, as was blowing out Ohio State, but outside of that, their resume isn't anything spectacular at this point, and they've struggled to play as the same cohesive unit they were during last season's title run. 6) Kansas ? 83 There were some doubts about the legitimacy of this Jayhawks squad, but most of those doubts were laid to rest after they ran #12 Oklahoma State out of the gym this past Wednesday. 7) Ohio State - 75 It may have been a close game, but the Buckeyes were able to pull out the win against Tennessee this past weekend, in what was probably the best game of Greg Oden's young career so far, as he racked up 24 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists, making up for a loss in Madison to #1 Wisconsin this past Tuesday. 8) Pittsburgh ? 73 Benefiting from the losses of Arizona, Butler, and Oklahoma State, the Panthers climbed three spots in this week's rankings. Aaron Gray's been solid as always, but the big surprise for Pittsburgh as of lately has been Eastern Carolina transfer Mike Cook. 9) Texas A&M ? 65 10) Arizona ? 63 11) Notre Dame - 56 12) Oklahoma State ? 55 13) Butler ? 53 14) Nevada ? 52 15) Air Force ? 41 16) Duke - 35 17) Maryland - 29 18) Tennessee ? 28 19) Alabama ? 27 20) Virginia Tech ? 20 21) Washington State - 17 22) Clemson - 15 23) Syracuse ? 11 24) Southern California ? 10 25) LSU ? 9 Others Receiving Votes: Marquette (8), Georgia Tech (5), Texas (5), Indiana (4), Memphis (3), Southern Illinois (3), Boston College (1), West Virginia (1)
