Yea, yours is a much bigger and more unreasonable assumption than mine. There's also the fact that having guards dominate the ball almost always leads to more success in college ball (eg: Villanova last season).

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting deception:</div><div class="quote_post">look through my posts for the last three years and u'll see i was rippin smitch long before i started on the big bosh man. the mitchell criticism is so obvious around raptor circles these days that its a given. my beef was that it was such a superfluous post and littered with excuses for bosh as to why he doesn't perform. for instance- thus far i believe the only ones who have pointed out bosh's jumpball gaffe have been pap and myself, kinda of pathetic if u ask me. to that end, i encourage everyone to look at his eyes and the total aloofness he has to the players around him when they were jostling for position. i knew he was going to tap it back to a maverick cause they positioned themselves back to his left hand and the fact he didn't look around beforehand. do u blame mitchell for that as well? i've played like a total of 10 meaningful games in my life at the high school level and thats the first thing i would have done.</div>
Littered with excuses? His post was two sentences long and just brought up the point that Mitchell's offense continues to force the ball into Bosh at the top of the free throw line. It's a valid counter to the criticism that Bosh has become predictable on offense and forces it too often. And it's a point that you agreed with when I restated it, so I'm not sure what your beef was.

As for the jumpball, I agree he messed up. But, as I said before, that shouldn't even have been the game defining play. In fact, I'm not even sure how pointing out a botched jumpball justifies putting such a large amount of blame on Bosh.

really? arguably the most dominant college player ever was kareem abdul-jabbar. oh btw, the national champion, jokaim noah and greg oden might have something to say about your assertion that the big man doesn't matter in the college game.

the jumpball crystallizes bosh's mental ineptness for me. besides, all plays in the last two minutes are heightened in importance.

i wasn't agreeing with u, i was agreeing with the consensus arrived upon after mitchell's first year that he sucks. pointing out his deficiencies is superfluous cause we already know that, restating the point is just annoying.

I cant believe what im reading. People are giving up on Bosh already!? Guys he's 22...he's still improving. This team is still improving and growing. You gotta have some patience.

Bosh and this team are both MUCH improved from last season. who said its going to be an overnight thing? We're looking at another season or two before we're a next level team...and lets face it, Dallas are already there...the way the calls went in this game is proof of that.

If we got the 2nd pick in that draft and got Darko, this forum would be filled with "why oh why didnt we get Bosh" quotes. You'd be DYING to have bosh on our team. So he's made some lapses on D and some mistakes in games...he's also won games for us with great play in the 4th...don't focus on the bad.

As for the game, I really hate the way Dallas play. They spend the first half pissing and moaning about EVERY single one of their shots that dont go in. If a shot misses...they say something to the ref...and wow...what a magical turn of events. In the 2nd half they seem to get all kinds of phantom calls ie: TJ's jump ball that was called a foul. AWFUL call. The way the officials handle the mavs and their whinning is really annoying.

Secondly, im STILL frustrated by Mitchell's rotations...where were Parker and Bosh 6 minutes into the 4th? Unbelivable the way he left Joey and his defensive mental lapses in there in stead of Parker who was playing so well (again). Wow was this game ever frustrating to watch.

wow havent logged onto this in ages..but honestly..you guys are retarted by saying Bosh is not a franchaise player..just look at the progress bosh and this team has made..he's only 22..he has never made it to the playoffs..give him time..he's gonna be like KG..his numbers and KG's are very similar when they both entered the league..give him time n this game was Mo's fault
he was told not to leave howard..and he did
