It's just what they know / have been brought up around.
Forgive me for not realising that they were born without a brain; maturity and common sense. And that is a piss poor excuse regardless.
Correct me if I'm completely off-base here, but I'm not really sure why people are blaming these problems on nationalities/ethnic groups. To me, these problems (gang activity, crime, violence, harrassment, etc.) are more the effects of poverty than any specific nationality. Targeting people of a certain origin (as the riots did) kind of avoids the actual issue. Again, I could be completely wrong here, so correct me if I am.

Ok, so that's not true. I was trying to make a parallell between Australia and England, but I guess it didn't work. However, maybe they act out because Australian immigration policies isolate them from mainstream culture (I think I've heard that before)? I know it sounds like I'm making excuses, but mainly it's just that I refuse to accept that people act up, because "they're just naturally like that." Usually there's another side to the story that, while not completely excusing their behaviour, gives a more balanced perspective.
Well its not naturally like them. You get good and bad in all races. Just there is tension between some races - like Serbs and Croats - and it is the idiots who cause these things to escalate. But then there are just some idiots, the 2002 Soccer World Cup, when Italy were knocked out the idiotic Italian fans ran out on Lygon St and destroyed stuff.
