he doesn't get enough credit for all the work he does. people act like Dirk is the only reason they got to the NBA Finals. what do u think?
as much as I dislike the Mavs, Terry "is" the reason they beat the Rockets a couple of years ago, Dirk got held in check by Tmac and Ryan Bowen, but Terry is the one that killed us.
Hell no. Jason Terry is the dumbest player in the league. He's a good shooter alright, but the Mavs are just lucky to get away with the bonehead plays he makes every game plus he just chokes under pressure. Mavs would be better off without JT.
JT is a clutch scorer and a great second option. He has a swagger that the team feeds off of. However Dirk's body and skills put him in another league. Lately Dirk has been distancing himself from the other MVP candidates by dropping 38+ against good teams, shooting 53%. Dirk's not the only reason the Mavs are good of course, but it's hard to imagine how good they would be if they had an average player starting at the 4 for them. Even if they had say Al Harrington, I think they would be around the bottom of the playoff seedings in the West.
It's hilarious how much the above two posts contrast. I've always loved and hated terry. He's one hell of a player for sure, one of the best shooter in the NBA imo. And he always kills the raps. Though, it's not like that's a feat.

Well, he sure has a great touch when it comes to shooting. But yeah, he is the opposite of clutchness. ;D And about dumb plays, I remember when he shot a wide-open layup for an airball. ;D;D
Jason Terry makes the dumbest players in the NBA look smart. I can't believe the Mavs resigned this dude for a big contract. Cuban should've traded him + fillers for Iverson.
