LOL! Very funny Kenn! I take it you didn't bother to watch the Sunday game. At least your leading scoring was from Michigan! One of Tom Izzo's Flint-stones. Can you name him?

I watched the game. It was awful. The Bucks self destructed, Redd was ice cold and the officials treated Milwaukee like an 8th seed.

I expect a different Milwaukee team to show up tonight. And I don't expect Charlie Bell to lead the scoring charge again. [IMG]

For what its worth I gotta stand behind Detroit on this one. They got Flip, and Flip is a loyal Minnesota boy. Its good to see what he can do when he's not dealing with a knucklehead front office.

I'll say it... Congrats Pistons. Nice win tonight.

I generally admit when I'm wrong...and when I'm being a "homer."

Rogers' gem completes sweep of Twins
Tigers' 16 wins matches their best April start since 1984

DETROIT -- Kenny Rogers completed the Tigers' mastery of Twins hitting with eight innings of two-hit ball in a 6-0 victory on Sunday, completing Detroit's first sweep over Minnesota since 2002 and wrapping up its best April record since 1984.

The Tigers outscored the Twins by a 33-1 margin in the three-game set, capped by Rogers' fifth quality start in six outings this season. The left-hander retired 18 consecutive batters from Torii Hunter's second-inning single until Justin Morneau's leadoff bloop single in the eighth. Just three of those outs escaped the infield.

Rogers needed just 90 pitches to last eight innings before Todd Jones completed the Tigers' fifth shutout in April. Detroit's 16 wins mark their highest April total since going 18-2 in 1984 en route to a World Series championship.

It appears that the year of Michigan sports teams is turning out like the summer of George.

They did win the President's Trophy and set a new NHL record for most road wins in a season. Not that it makes me feel any better about being bounced in the first round.

As a former Goaltender myself, I can tell you the Wings really missed 6'5" 235 lb defenseman Jiri Fischer against a team like Edmonton.
Hopefully he'll be able to come back next year. I'm sure the Wings would have never let Darrin Hatcher go if they'd have known of fischer's health problem.

After hearing the Edmonton fans boo our National Anthem before every game, I'll be pulling for whoever plays them next.

How bout those Pistons! (Up 3-1 over Milwaukee ... 13 to go)

How bout those Tigers! (Won for the 10th time in 12 games last night.)

Craig Monroe belts a 2 run homer in the 7th inning.

Don't look now, the TIGERS are tied with the White Sox for the best record in baseball. Amazing.

Year in & year out, The Red Wings have the best (only actually) shot of collecting Championship bling, so maybe 2007 will be Detroit's year....I doubt it.

God, I can't believe I just said that...
