Trade Nazr plus a future 2nd rounder to the Nets for Marcus Williams. Billups will be gone next year.

Would Rod Thorn consider that even if he was drunk?

Why not? I know he's giving up a future prospect, but without a big man their season is a washout. The kid is not going to get much playing time for another couple of years anyway.

You're not serious right? I would love nothing more for us to aquire Marcus Williams, but this trade is just obsurd.

With his court vision and under the guidance of J-Kidd, Marcus Williams is going to be a top point guard in the league in a couple of years time. Nazr Mohammed has been in the league for what, 8-9 seasons now, and is only good for 6-7 points a night, he is a fairly weak rebounder for some one his size and he provides little inside defensive presence. He's even been moved to the bench in favour of the 38 year old Dale Davis. He wouldnt solve any of the Nets big man problems.

Add to the fact that the second round pick would be very poor (like in the late fifties), and there is absolutley no way Thorn would even take a look at this trade.

Then why did you reply giving reasons why Rod Thorn would do it, when you know it was a stupid trade idea?

Nazr really didn't need to ask for a trade, he was going to be moved very soon anyway.

No, but anyone with NBA knowledge or even common sense for that matter would laugh at that trade.

So what do Pistons fans consider his value to be in the trade market? Also, I'm wondering why he's suddenly become expendable. I remember Nazr having a surprisingly good start to the season.

He is a big so he will always have some value. Nazr can score a little, isn't a great rebounder but every now and then could have a big rebounding game. He isn't that active, doesn't catch the ball well. He pump fakes far too much.

He's become available due to adding Webber. We already have plenty of big man and want get minutes for Webber.
