We've had less than a week of snow this winter here in Stockholm, and that's pretty scary concidering that the snowing back when I was a kid would have started several months ago, and lasted *at least* some time into March.
Yeah we've been getting a bunch of snow in the Northwest. Not used to this much. Getting into to work was a bitch this morning. It's supposed to start raining today so we'll see how it goes.
We just got our first snow of the winter here in Iowa on Saturday, and that's very odd. We usually see snow in late November, and at that point in time, we were in the 50s. Very odd.
Lucky! We had snow here in Houston like 2 years ago and it was the first snow in Houston after like 15 years, I guess we won't see anymore snow for another decade now. It is suppose to hail/sleet tonight. But when we get the snow here, it was one of the most awesomest (yeah I know thats not a word) moments.

Al Gore is on to something...we got our first real snowstorm of the year this week, too. I can't remember a winter when we didn't have a couple inches after mid-December, but this year it was mid-January
Not just the snow....in toronto we had +9 degrees Celcius in early Janurary and usually we can be anywhere from -10 to -20. Its gotta be something bad

I'm talking about cars in ice cubes kind of cold. Trees were dripping in icicles and stuff. Is that what really goes down in the streets of Wisconsin?

In winter, it can be very mild, other times light snow all over but still 30ish, and still other times we've got a blizzard and a foot or two of white crap all over everything...and the wind chill is below zero (windchill is a biotch). And that's the only time that I ever question how great it is to live here. Then again, it's something to go hiking or camping in winter in this state. So you take the good with the bad. This year's been unseasonably warm up until the past week. We really never got more than a dusting up until now, and I can't tell you guys how crazy that is We don't usually get blizzard stuff until January of February anyways, but to have no snow by Christmas is just about unheard of.
According to some weathermen around here if rain comes it will actually snow here tonight/tomorrow, which is nuts since I live a few miles south of San Francisco. This morning slipped on ice from the watter in the gutter by my house that had frozen over and when I got home it was still there. My mom says it hasn't snowed here since I was born (1990), hopefully they'll call off school even if its just a bit of snow.
Winnepeg still has the worst winters I've ever seen. I have no idea how they've been this year, though. It's funny, because it's like we switched weather with the West Coast. Toronto's been pretty warm all winter with a lot of rain, while Vancouver's had random snowstorms that have taken everyone by surprise.
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Global Warming is a bitch...</div> Wait, do you get snow in Cali normally?
Doesnt snow at all here. Though alot of people it told me that it snowed over the weekend, which would be the first time in like 200 years or something, also we just set the record for coldest temperature in San Diego with 32 F. Yet at school people are still wearing shorts and a tshirt.
My friend/relative moved from N.Y, he said when it gets cold in NY it is super cold, when it gets hot, it is hotter than Houston. I was a little shocked, is that true?
Yea we're getting pwned in the snow department. It's a bitch to drive in because of all the ice. *Prays for sunny days*

^^Damn. In Houston the weather is pretty gay these days, one day it rains, next day its hot, then the other day its super cold. But when its summer it is usually in the high 80s low 90s.
