<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Orlando Magic have stumbled in the last two games of their road swing, but have a chance to go .500 on the trip as they take on the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday night. Orlando (22-16) is 1-2 on its four-game trip, routing Golden State in the opener Wednesday before losing to the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix over the weekend. The two defeats were by a combined nine points, including Saturday's 107-101 loss to the Suns. Orlando fell behind by as many as 18 in the third quarter, but cut the deficit to 104-101 on Jameer Nelson's 3-pointer with 2:13 to play. The Magic, playing their second game in two nights, had several chances to get closer or tie it after that but couldn't. "To be down by 20 to the best team in the NBA, and come back like that is saying something about our team," Nelson said. "Regardless of stats, and who did what, as a team, it shows character." Nelson scored 16 of his game-high 26 points in the third quarter, and Hedo Turkoglu added 18 for the Magic. Dwight Howard, though, was held to 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting. The Magic were outscored 60-49 in the first half and the Suns shot 53.1 percent for the game - the highest percentage Orlando has allowed in the last seven contests. "To be honest with you, they shut us down in the first half with their defense," Nelson said. "They did things that took us out of our game and things that we had to adjust to." Orlando has dropped six of its last seven on the road to fall to 8-10 away from Amway Arena. The Magic, however, have won four of their last five against the Hornets (14-22), including two straight on the road.</div> Source
I expect a slow start, but we pick it up late and come through when it matters. I expect to see a good game by Dwight and Grant Hill after they got a couple of days out.
so can someone tell me why the hell is fagget arroyo still wearing magic blue??? that first rounder that we gave to the pistons is looking pretty damn good right about now...there has been at least 3 possesions where NO1 but him has dribbled the ball to about the 8 second mark on the shot clock, and he shot it and missed, id have no problem with this if he was making them, but the only thing he's making is his own house building company...gosh i hate him!
so it was a below average first half. we have to get the ball down low to dwight, i dont know how many times we have to say this. the only people that can stop him are the refs, and they are def. not doing their job tonight, they are sleeping on their whistles. when jameer was bumped, and it was a clear foul, it took the ref about a second and a half or 2 to make the call...arroyo needs to be benched, FOREVER! and we should be good to go also, i never though i could say this, but garrity needs to see more time in the second half, even though he didnt do much in the first half, he was the only one that i saw moving the ball and he actually played defense

There have been several times where he dribbles the ball 15 times, doesn't look to pass at all, and jacks up a shot. There were three consecutive possessions where Arroyo ran the shot clock down and then took a shot. We really need to get him out of there because he is playing terrible right now. He doesn't get anyone else involved offensively and even when his shot isn't falling, he continues to shoot and never looks to pass.
yeah, and i also move that we injure jannero pargo and smush parker...the 2 players with the gayest names in the league, who names their kids jannero and smush, wtf, were their parents drunk?

Darko is playing great right now. He's having one of those nights where everything is working out. I wish he were more consistent and could play like this every night.
8 minutes left in the fourth quarter and we're down by two. Why the hell isn't Dwight Howard in the game? EDIT: WOW, Arroyo just missed a jumpshot on a fast break when he had two teammates right there with him. I hate Carlos.
ANOTHER THREE ON ONE FAST BREAK AND CARLOS TOOK A JUMPSHOT FROM THE FREE THROW LINE. BOGANS AND HEDO WERE RIGHT THERE AND HE MISSED THE JUMPSHOT. BENCH HIS ASS BRIAN HILL!
YES! Darko came up huge in the end for the Magic. First he hits a free throw to tie the game and then blocks Pargo's game winning shot to send the game to overtime. Great job by Darko and it's time for overtime baby! Tyson Chandler fouled out so look for the Magic to give the ball to Dwight a lot.
We lost focus and let the weaker team beat us, just as I feared. Hornets win 84-78. Way to go Brian Hill, this loss is put on your shoulders.

If you meant it because of their missing players, then i get it, but i took it as a weaker team. Correct me if im wrong.
It took us 4 minutes and 50 seconds, but we finally scored in OT on a Dooling 3. What a joke of an OT period by the Magic.
<div class="quote_poster">Swish Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, you guys didn't have Paul, West, Stojackovic, or Jackson so right now you are the weaker team.</div> Exactly why we should have beat them..... Ridiculous is beyond words for this loss.
<div class="quote_poster">Swish Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Is Brian Hill delusional?</div> Nah, that's just his usual self.
The thing I hate is that we can't fire him either because our record is pretty good and there is nobody available that's better. He makes some bonehead moves though that just leave me staring at my television in confusion.
