I thought Bonzi played well for his first time back on the court. He had some nice points, 3 rebs and a couple of assists. It wasnt a bad loss, we played pretty good (bein that Tmac was out). During a 3rd quarter stretch they went up 10pts and we didn't even make a substitution Overrall good effort...........
Not too bad considering TMac was out. Though it is hurting us to lose these games against the big guns. There's no way we can imove up the ladder if we are only beating the teams below us in our conference.

At least when Hayes has a bad game, us Hayes supporters would point it out. I guess it goes to show how objective you are to the argument at hand (likewise when bonzi plays bad, you ignore it).

You STILL find something wrong. Tryin to bait me again I thought Bonzi was effective and played hard.....Good game
He didnt say you made anything, but if you notice Durvasa will say Hayes had a bad game im dissapointed, and give J-Ho credit when he steps up. Now today Hayes played well and J-Ho didnt and you just try to step around it like nothing happened. There were no stars in the game and J-Ho didnt play well without them in the game.

Also, Hayes got a nice offensive rebound in which Tmac missed the 3 (but nice play however). I'm proud of the team as a whole, great win!!</div> ^^^^^Explain this

The fact that we still managed to stay in both games until the end is encouraging in itself.
When you're playing Phoenix and you're up by 15 with like 3 minutes left in the game, you can't get too happy. They'll always come back. If we came so close without Yao or Tmac, we would've probably whooped them with our two superstars. Last night Bill Worrell said Yao would be out till March. Is that true?

yeah man, these injuries are friggin killing us..as soon as yao was playing like an MVP he had to get injured!
<div class="quote_poster">ownage Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Why is Lucas taking all those shots...He took 13 shots in 19 mins. Amazing. Nash killed us when Lucas was gaurding him. Yet another coaching question mark...sigh...</div> You don't think Nash would kill the Rox with all the points they'd score off VSpan turnovers?
<div class="quote_poster">ownage Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Why is Lucas taking all those shots...He took 13 shots in 19 mins. </div> Finally someone noticed it! Bravo! I have been noticing the same thing. As soon as he got in the rotation, he's been ball-hogging. I am starting to hate him now. Yeah he gets you quick points but he does it with a lot of shot attempts. Its like when he's playing, he just wants picks, wants to drive in and take a shot. And when he does, he tries to play tough defense. Reminds me a lot like Moochie Norris except with a little offense. I like the guy trying hard out there to score, but he simply ball hogs and takes way too many attempts for the number of minutes he gets.

My point was that when JHo plays bad, you treat it as if never happened. THen when he plays well, you make sure everyone knows about it. When Hayes plays well, you say good job team, and point out maybe one specific play (rather than the overall game). Anyways this is the last time I bother addressing you. Its clear to me that its not even worth the effort to argue with you. You rarely ever use stats and figures and go by what you "see". Problem is, often what you see is mostly what you want to see (and ignore the stuff you don't). Try to be a little more open minded. Anyways Locke, I apologize for getting out of hand the other thread (and off topic in this one). Durvasa, I applaud you for having the type of patience you do for handling Rock (I tear my hair out in frustration reading his posts) and I find most of your posts quite enjoyable (both here and in clutchfans). <div class="quote_poster">Rock4life Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">To his credit, JVG inserted Hayes in on the last possession and him & Battier made a great defensive play on Gordon. I'm happy that both Yao and Tmac were injured this year. This gives the bench quite the confidence to do what they need to do when neither are on the court. Back when Yao was healthy, I noticed that they depended on him too much. Whenever they ran the offense without Yao, they seemed quite lost. I strongly believe that Yao being injured greatly increased our chances at the championship because it taught our players how to play when Yao is sitting out. We no longer need to worry as much about our offense when he is getting a breather.

Howard has been playin fantastic the whole season with the exception of the first month. The last game was his only real "bad" game in a long stretch. How can you critcize that? I guess ur still a litte steamed that he's outplayed Hayes thus far, which is understandable because you figured Hayes would have a breakout season. As far as that debate, it's better you don't say anything. Lookin at both players, Howard has flourished and Hayes hasn't. Not sayin Hayes won't have a great 2nd half, but it's highly unlikely. If ur tryin to shift the debate, it won't work. I've given Hayes props as well as criticism. I even went as far to say he's fun to watch. I just didn't agree with him gettin big minutes. That's all. <div class="quote_poster">foo82 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Durvasa, I applaud you for having the type of patience you do for handling Rock (I tear my hair out in frustration reading his posts) and I find most of your posts quite enjoyable (both here and in clutchfans).</div> You seem to name drop Durvasa atleast one time in every one of ur posts. What I "saw" this season was that Juwan Howard has played GREAT after alot of you wrote him off. Simple as that, stats also back that up. Some of you BERATED Juwan Howard early in the season so I defended him (and I will continue too!). We already know who won that debate. Aslong as ya'll appreciate what Howard (and Bonzi) both bring to the table, I have no need to go back & forth with you Go Rockets!!!
