<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Center Dwight Howard, the NBA's dunk leader, is likely headed to the all-star weekend as the tallest competitor in the slam-dunk contest, which long has catered to smaller, acrobatic players. "He's about 90 percent certain," said Mary Ford of Goodwin Enterprises, which represents Howard. Aaron Goodwin, Howard's agent, said recently he expects the league to formally invite Howard to compete. Howard, 6-11, is also expected to be named to the Eastern Conference all-star squad by coaches. Howard's camp is hoping the dunk contest can increase his profile. Ford says that a dream showdown would match Dwight and Nate Robinson, the tallest dunker against the smallest dunker. Robinson, a New York Knicks guard, won the dunk contest last season at 5-9.</div> Source

I just worry he's gonna hurt himself doing something stupid.
Apparently the players held a mini dunk contest over the summer during the World Championships and Dwight impressed a lot of people. I remember reading an article where the other players and spectators were saying Dwight was crazy and that he definitely needed to enter the dunk contest. I'm curious to see what he's going to do.
Dwight is huge! It will be similar to the Amare Stoudimire situation, but I don't think Jameer Nelson could do a pass with his feet.
The only problem i see Dwight having is the disadvantage(or advantage, however you wanna spin it), is his height and size. Also, hemight not have the hangtime someof the smaller players do.
That USA Team footage was so sick. I couldn't stop grinning watching guys like Wade, Lebron, Carmelo, Bosh, and Howard putting on a dunk contest. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The only problem i see Dwight having is the disadvantage(or advantage, however you wanna spin it), is his height and size.</div> Most likely disadvantage, but because people sympathize with shorter players unless he can throw down some ridiculous dunks.
