In the D. It still looks like he is a bit foul prone even at the D level but the rebounds and blocks are promising. Anybody else watching his progress?
I think his Summer League form may have given everyone a bit of false hope with how ready he actually is for the league - raw guys like him can always look ok when the intensity is down, but when it starts up properly he's been found wanting a bit. Which again is all that you'd expect, he still has the tools to really make an impact in the league defensively. I am not too fussed about his offence in the D League (let's face it, every man and his dog down there fancies himself to go off for 30 a game), but you want to see him controlling the paint defensively, which by all accounts he is starting to do at that level. Long way to go though.
He was brought in to be a premier shot blocker and lost post defender. Any offense from him at this point is gravy. If he can show the ability to consistently control the paint defensively than he is worth a #10 pick in this draft. This draft may go down as the weakest draft in NBA history -- right up there with the 2000 draft.
