I've been saying they take D'Brick ever since the Brees signing.

Even after letting Howard go to Philly, they are still fairly deep on the DL.

Drafting Mario Williams made little sense then and makes less now IMO.

So will the Jets take Mario Williams, then? Assuming the Texans take Bush, NO Takes Ferguson, and the Titans take Leinart?

Interesting.. Mario Williams in my opinion is the better player than D'Brick and every thing on ESPN Insider said Williams was their guy.

I hope the Jets trade up for Leinart or take a QB that way the Pack can land Mario Williams at #5. I'm pretty excited that this happen now. D'Brick to Saints makes the most sense now.

For the moment, here's how I see the top 5. Its all contingent on the jets eventual transition to a 3-4.

    Texans Bush
    Saints Ferguson
    Titans Leinart
    Jets A. J. Hawk
    Packers M. Williams

I said it before, Ill say it again, I believe that Ferguson is the best player in this draft and is the best LT Ive seen in 10 years....barring and injury, I expect the team that drafts him to enjoy 15 years of dominance on the left side....

This draft is so loaded. I look at Ferguson, Leinart, Young, Cutler, Bush, M. Williams, and even Vernon Davis. I think all would of been graded out higher than Alex Smith from a year ago.

Both Hawk and Williams are better suited for the 4-3 though which makes it hard on the Jets. I think the Jets will end up trading up for Matt Leinart. Pennington really is only going to be around for a year and Ramsey is just insurance. The Titans won't go with with D'Brick since the used a 2nd round pick on Michael Roos who played very well last year and will be their LT.

    Texans - Bush
    Jets from Saints - Leinart
    Titans - Young
    Saints from Jets - D'Brick
    Packers - M. Williams

Of course I only hope this because I want Super Mario in Green and Gold next year but it could realistically play out. The Saints can drop 2 spots and still get their guy and possibly pickup the #29 pick in the Draft where they could go with a CB like Cromartie possibly and still hold onto their round 2 pick and take maybe DeMeco Ryans or Thomas Howard..

Saints are in a very good spot right now. If I were a Saints fan I'd be very excited about this Draft.
