With LA now a legit team in the West, 4th best team in the League- what is it going to take for LA to become real title contenders? We have no money to spend in free Agency so it doesn't seem likely that next season will be leaps and bounds better than this one... By position were solid at Center, PF, SF, SG and....well wait, no were not that good at PG. Smush Parker is the biggest hole in our team and while he has his moments I'd be much more comfortable with a guy like J-Kidd running the show. He's smart, has finals experience, plays defense, and PJAX likes him (I know this cause he said he tried to trade Kobe for him). What do you guys think? JKIDD KOBE LUKE LAMAR BYNUM That'd be SICK.
He'd help alot, but he wont be cheap. Also while he's still been playing great with a lot of personal issues, but that could change for the worse.
The way the Lakers are playing I dought they'll make a move any time soon. They are playing awesome without Odom and Kwame. These are two core players in the team that we are missing but we know will get back. This is better than a trade. In Smush defense, I was againts him in the beginning of the season but he is improving defensively making key plays at the end of games. Steals, rebounds, and great clutch shots.

Who can we trade to match up salary wise? Jason Kidd is one of the top paid players in the league. We all know that Kobe and Odom are not going, so who can we trade away? I guess we could do Kwame + Radmanovic + Mihm for Jason Kidd. I'm not sure if the Nets would even except that trade, and I'm not even sure I would even offer that trade, seeing that our front court depth will be pretty much nonexistent.
