It appears to be that the Bills owner needs to adapt or move on.

    Wilson speaks out

Shame we don't have a Buffalo fan here to spin this. Not! LOL

RW said that te new owners (specifically Jerry Jones, Bob Kraft, & Snyder) do not have the leagues best interest at heart i.e. They're selfish.

I have mixed feeling about Jones. Snyder is an idiot and proof that fool and his money are soon parted.

Taking a shot at Kraft surprised me. Some of Buffalo's better players recently have been Patriot castoffs e.g. Bledsoe & Milloy.

If Daniel Snyder is what he is doing what he believes to the best course of action for the 'skins then so be it. I think he could use a little more discretion.

Personally, Wilson has gone around the bend. I'd hate to see this particular franchise go the way of the Oilers. The league would be no fun w/o the Bills. LMAO.

The salary cap and revenue sharing are for all intents socialist philosphies i.e. They restrict the free market.

Good article. I still dont understand how . . .

a team that has a salary cap of 100 million or so
and that cap is based on 61% of thier revenues(not all revenues)
cant compete financially, there is no way there other expenses are exceeding 66 million dollars! It is ridiculous.

    Can't or won't?

Would Wilson be saying this if Jim Kelly, Thurman, & Andre Reed were still playing? I doubt it.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Under the new deal, a team is forced to have a minimum payroll of $85.5 million and there are future penalties against teams that spend more than the $102 million of the cap.</div>
I don't think there should be a "minimum payroll" in the NFL. If you can field a team for whatever salary cap number, you should be able to do it.

The Vikings, for example, have spent very little money in the past ten years, yet they somehow were able to stay competitive enough to be in the NFC Central/North race every year.

Forcing teams to spend money is lame... They should have to stay under the cap, but how much they stay under the cap shouldn't be mandated.

    In my opinion, of course...
