I was just reading the thread about Kirilenko being "on thin ice" in Utah and it seems as though they may start fielding offers for him. He is a great defender and is one of the most versatile players in the league. Shape mentioned that we could package Grant Hill's expiring contract and J.J. Redick for him. He also mentioned replacing Redick with Trevor Ariza but I wouldn't want to give him up at this point. I'm all for going after AK47 as long we don't break up our young core (Jameer, Dwight, Ariza, Darko). Do you guys think we should go after him?
Great idea ! Oh god: G - Nelson G - Ariza F - Kirilenko F - Dwight C - Darko Now that's scary ;D If the Magic will somehow make this trade... Then the Magic would be back in the town 100%, no question. They're playing great basketball even now.

Plus Andrei usually plays only half of the games in a season.</div> Has Grant and JJ combined for a full season yet? No way they do that deal. We'd have to package picks at least. Kirilenko is one of my favorite non Magic players because he does everything.
Yeah I was thinking more about this and I doubt the Jazz would bite. They have reportedly been offered Jason Richardson and Michael Pietrus from Golden State so I doubt they would want Grant Hill and J.J. Redick. If we could somehow pull it off then I'd say do it in a heartbeat, however, it seems as if we would have to give a lot more. Would you guys give up Jameer in a deal for Kirilenko?

Well Chuck mentioned he would trade Jameer last week so I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Travis Diener would be starting and you're right, that would be ugly. I could see Darko getting shipped out. Brian Hill doesn't want to play him and if his work ethic is as bad as people say it is, I could see us packaging him before the deadline.

His expiring contract is a huge piece of leverage, and we can get something good for it.
We'd likely have to give up Hill and Darko. WHy would they want Arroyo back? How bout this? Utah gives AK Ronnie Brewer Magic gives Grant HIll Darko Redick Garrity and rights to Fran(they wanted to draft Fran originally)
