<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Andre Iguodala isn't planning to attempt the jump from runner-up to champion in the NBA's All-Star Weekend slam dunk contest in Las Vegas. The 76ers' guard/forward said Wednesday night in Memphis that he was not interested in a second appearance in the competition. He finished second to the New York Knicks' Nate Robinson in a "Dunk Off" last season. "I don't want to do it," Iguodala said. "It's a long process. You dunk, then you sit for 20 minutes. Last year, with the dunk contest and the rookie game [the rookie-sophomore game], I played 4 nights in a row. I was just tired. It's hard to come up with new stuff. They need some new young guys."</div> Read More... Allow me to translate this "I don't feel like getting robbed again by a 5'7" guy just because people are impressed he can dunk, even if it takes him 16 tries." So this brings up the question who will Nate rob this year?
Yeah, I heard he wouldn't be competing during a Sixers game on ESPN earlier this year. Dwight is gonna win it baby!
Thanks a lot Kenny Smith and all the other judges that ruined the dunk contest last year. You too Nate Rob (and I used to be a fan of yours).

Sorry to hear about that. But I can understand the decision. You need to practice your dunks, you need some new stuff, you need the fitness and your body... not everybody can or wants to go through this. Finally, I want to say that Iggy was awesome last year! <div class="quote_poster">Swish Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Dwight is gonna win it baby!</div> I don't see a lot of Orlando games, I already have seen and know that he has unbelievable power dunks, receives a lot of alley-oops and has a very good leap, but can you say something about his agility, mobility and creativity? Is he better in that than Amare Stoudemire who was "too big" and is a plain powerdunker, but struggled already with a good 360 or needs four to six attempts for a rather easy between-the-legs dunk?
I wonder who's going to be in it this year then.. It would have been awesome to see Iggy in it again this season. But, yeah, he got robbed last season.

Man I was hoping to see a Nate-Iggy rematch... Oh well, he knew he won that contest last year. Why comeback and try it again?
<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">whats up guys</div> Anyway, I hope Carney enters this year.
Dwight would win it easy if he gets in. Though they may choose other players over him, for example less known players. I hope Nate is in it again so I can see him lose

Also, Dwight is someone who can actually sell jerseys unlike someone like Rodney Carney who isn't known by most casual fans.
