Just say no to trading Jrich! Unless it's for JO or anybody who is elite big player that can play both offense/defensive roles.

Really, GS should absolutely not invest 5.5 million a year for Mohammed who won't start a single game.

Why not trying to trade for a center such as DJ MBenga of Dallas? He is seldom used but can really run the floor well. Nelson discovered him btw. For 10 minutes a game, not more is needed. He will be a younger and quicker version of Foyle.

This Nazr trade is disgusting [IMG]. Pistons have found out what I could've told you last season. He is a one dimensional player who isn't that good. He isn't starter material, but a career journeyman. He's like a taller Matt Barnes. He was worth keeping when he was still on that low contract of his, but not anymore.

That said, I'd go for the deal someone mentioned earler -- Foyle for Nazr and Dale Davis (expiring contract).

Hell we robed them once, might as well do it again, hit the iron while it's hot.

Foyle's 3 yr deal vs Nazr's 5 yr tips it in Foyles favor, especially as he's learned the system.

If Nellie is actually WILLING to play a true PF,we can draft one,we can perhaps trade Pietrus to the Hornets for Simmons.

I agree on the power forward issue completely! Harrington ain't a power forward, especially not in the West, so I hope we do something by all-star break or this offseason/draft time to get a real power forward. Stats and physical weight and height are misleading for our starting "4" just like it was with guys like Marcus Fizer. Harrington is probably better off playing a post-up "3" a majority % of the time while playing the "4" when his shot and handles are on.

As bad as Foyle is offensively, I'm actually siding with Foyle over Nozzy. But Pietrus for Simmons seems very intriguing because I don't know much about Simmons other than he's very athletic, very long, and very, very raw with only flashes of big man talent that pops out every once in a while. Seems like a trade worth doing if Pietrus has plateaued, while Simmons can still get better. So it might be okay if we're getting a bigger player in return with more upside and it fills a position of greater need. Plus, if he plays big for a 230-240 lb guy like a Kenyon Martin or an Andrei Kirilenko, it might be just what we need to gain defensive stops, rebounds, and smart passing to initiate that fastbreak.

    I like that scenario, REREM.
