Remember 2 years ago when we got Francis/Mobley/Cato for Tmac. We started out red hot, 13-6 and finished in the mid 30's with wins and dealt Mobley. This is season is reminding me of that.

Call me a pessimistic Magic fan, but the Magic have seemed to find a way to **** everything up every single season since Shaq left and I'm just waiting for it to happen again.

It isn't all the players fault, and it isn't management. Otis is a smart guy who knows how to play his cards.

The problem is Brian Hill. He makes stupid substitutions, and stupid plays. I'm amazed at our record at the moment to be honest. The second problem is our two point guards, Dumb and Dumber. Arroyo slows our offense and eventually misses his shots, and Dooling chucks the ball more than he is supposed to.

well i wouldnt say the season is over..we are not even at the half way point yet...although i have to say our only problem i can see is brian hill. We have the players that can win games excluding arroyo, but brian hill coaching is restricting us. He isnt utilizing our talent correctly. The only thing is if we were to get a new coach.. who would it be? hmmm stan van gundy??

Darko needs more playing time. Give Darko a spot in the starting lineup and see what happens. He's due for a breakout season imo. You didn't trade a first round pick for him to sit and sulk on the bench.

I hate to say I told you so. They always find a way to get everyone optimistic and then just rip out our hearts. I'll be surprised if the Pistons get higher than a Top 10 pick.

So you think we'll end up even worse than last year?

I think they should just throw Darko in the starting lineup. Andres Biedrins on the Warriors did, and look at the numbers he's posting now.

Raptors .5 game behind the Magic [IMG]

I really thought the Magic would play really well this year. I guess Jameer Nelson not progressing or performing as expected and the poor coaching of Brian Hill (from what I've gathered) has contributed greatly to the Magic's lack of sucess since their hot start.

God I remember saying the same thing in the beginning of December when we were 1st/2nd in the East...

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I wish I could be more excited than I am now, but I can't help thinking about our 13-6 start last year (or year before?), or the possibility of Grant Hill getting injured.</div>

Yep, there it is. This sucks, before you know it we'll be .500. I agree there needs to be some roster changes made. It is broke, so fix it!

    Damn, you called that. Props.

But yeah, our slogan "it ain't broke so don't fix it" doesn't really apply anymore. [IMG]

    Funny how things change. [IMG]

We still have this easy stretch in front of us and we need to take advantage of it. We started off slow losing to Atlanta but if we can win some of these games against mediocre teams in the next couple of weeks then we could get our season back on track. This will be a good test for our team because we'll see if we are a playoff team that can overcome these horrible slumps or a lottery team that throws in the towel when an obstacle is put in their way.
