Now that it's getting closer to the date that the Rookie-Sophomore Game rosters are announced, what are your predictions? (Note: There are nine players on each team.)

    Here are my predictions:

SF ? Adam Morrison (13.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.3 apg; Charlotte)
PF ? Andrea Bargnani (10.2, 3.8 rpg, 0.7 apg; Toronto)
    C ? Jorge Garbajosa (8.4 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 1.9 apg; Toronto)

    <font size=""1"">Bench:
<font size=""1"">Rudy Gay (SF, MEM), Shelden Williams (PF, ATL), LaMarcus Aldridge (C, POR), Jordan Farmar (PG, LAL)</font>

    Close-calls:
<font size=""1"">Craig Smith (PF, MIN), Marcus Williams (PG, NJN), Yakhouba Diawara (SF, DEN), Paul Millsap (PF, UTAH)</font></font>

    <u>Sophomores</u>

PG ? Deron Williams (17.0 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 8.7 apg; Utah)
SG ? Monta Ellis (17.8 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 4.1 apg; Golden State)
SF ? Danny Granger (12.4 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.9 apg; Indiana)
PF ? David Lee (10.7 ppg, 10.4 rpg, 1.4 apg; New York)

Assuming he healthy in time, which he should be, Chris Paul will more than likely be on the sophomore team as well. This game is going to be road kill early. I'm looking forward to watching Randy Foye in some extended playing time though.

I kept him and Villanueva off because they've been hurt, and I wasn't sure if there was a game minimum or if they'd even be healthy by then. Is there one?

Luther Head was good at last year's rookie vs sophmore game as a rookie. Sad that he couldn't get to the team this time.

I believe that it's going to be a blowout win for the Sophmores.
Deron, Ellis and David Lee have been playing great basketball.

Deron Willliams vs Brandon Roy. [IMG]

Millsap also needs to be on the bench and then you got it right!

From what I have heard Chris Paul might be back late January, early February he says his injury is healing really fast so he might even return earlier than that. I don't know if the organization will put a limit on how many games he has to play before hand, in order to participate, but since this was kind of a freak injury and not something reoccuring I would be surprised if the organization held him out of it.

Sophmores are going to win this one especially when Paul returns cause none of these rookies has stepped up. In the beginning of the season i thought Rajon Rondo will be a great player but where is he now? I would say the best rookie is Roy but the MVP is going to be Deron Willimas.

No, this is Bynum's 2nd year. I'd definetly put Bynum ahead of Ryan Gomes, but that could just be me

I'm giving the nod to the players that have played for the majority of the year over players that have missed big portions (May, Marvin Williams, CV). The sophmore class has really been impressive this year with Lee, Bynum, Warrick, Ellis emerging.</font>
