Granted the Rockets didn't play their best ball last night, but what upset me the most was seeing our lame a$$ fans give up on our team.....and it wasn't the first time it happened this season. The other night against Phoenix there was 5 minutes left in the game, our guys were still in it, and we had no Tmac or Yao. All of a sudden you see a large number of fans heading towards the exits. THEN last night topped it off. We're headed into overtime and a AGAIN a large number of fans start leaving. It's already bad enough that they don't cheer the whole game and the only time they stand up is when free t-shirts are being tossed out, but when you head for the extis early in tight games that = you don't deserve a winning team.....I thought I'd put it in this thread, because I want EVERYONE to know about our lame fans.
Yeah I went to a Houston and Spurs game last year, man we had more people cheering for San Antonio than Houston. Our fans are bullshitting.

It's more convenient than going to SA to watch them.

We barely had any Houston fans which sucked like crap.
Word is that the Spurs organization is suppossed to be sending 200 fans to Houston for our next matchup.....combine those fans with the Spurs fans that already show up, and the Rowdies will have a lot of taunting/cheering to do....there's no way in hell I'll let other fans come in and be louder than us
Warrior fans are retarded when ever the Lakers play in Oakland. The cheer for the Lakers as much as the Warriors and chant MVP for Kobe.
That's a shame man. As much as I hate the puckheads who make up most of the Raptors casual fans, I have to give our fanbase for being incredibly loyal. You should really give it to people as they leave. Make it personal and just make them feel like s**t for abandoning their team like that.
Being from UT alumni i wish that the spurs would do somthing like mack brown did for the longhorns. The "Come early, Be loud, stay late" Wear orange" You see the fans stay thru the game no matter ehat, I know when i go to the spurs games i stay and cheer to the end no matter what the score is.
Man I remember that Spurs vs. Houstons game where Tmac scored 13 points in 35 seconds, everyone started to head towards the exit with like 2 minutes remaining in the game when we were down by like 8 I think. McGrady proved em' all wrong by scoring 13 in 35. Houston fans! YOU SUCK (excluding me, THE DREAM, and all the rowdies).
I remember the Rocket fans got pretty loud when the Rockets cameback against the Lakers with that 26-1 run earlier this year, maybe you should put in the bench quicker
<div class="quote_poster">J_Ray Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">maybe you should put in the bench quicker </div> That, or the fans should learn some respect and understand that you cant win them all.
Sad to hear this. TimmyDMVP talked about it last year, too. When the Mavs played out the Spurs in the 7th game of the West Conference Finals.
<div class="quote_poster">NTC187 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">That, or the fans should learn some respect and understand that you cant win them all.</div> Maybe it'd be better if they could schedule some games in China for the Regular season, that'd be successful IMO
most people treat the game like it's a fashion show and look at the rowdies like we're crazy when we start cheering.......it's almost like they're afraid to act a lil crazy for their team.
