So I was outside playing basketball earlier today and I lowered my rim so I could dunk. Well I tried to throw myself an alley oop and after I dunked the ball, I landed wrong on my ankle. I came down hard on it and it was basically twisted to the side. I went to the walk in clinic near my house and they did X-Rays. It's fractured and I got a cast now and crutches. This sucks because a basketball league I just signed up for was starting in the next two weeks.

They don't know how severe it is yet. I have to see a podiatrist in the next few days and they'll tell me more.

The first game isn't until March 3rd so I might just miss the first couple weeks of practice depending on how severe it is.

Why dont you just play with it

Man that sucks. Last year in June I broke my left wrist when I fell after a dunk outdoors. Had a cast on for 5 weeks. Get well soon.

Get well Swish, At least a fractured ankle doesn't prevent you from interviewing people if the opportunity arises.
Get well Swish. Hopefully you don't miss too much of your league. Make sure you don't play when if the doctor tells you not to; you don't wanna injure it even more. Kind of off-topic, but since we're talking about injuries; Lately I've been having tons of practices and games cause' I'm on my Junior High Senior team and a Community league team. And I've been having practices and games almost everyday, and I think I've strained my calves or something. Theres a tingly but tense feeling in my calve area and when I stand up straight, my legs get wobbly. Does anyone know what to do?
