Panthers have signed LB Keith Adams to a two year deal. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Panthers.com The Carolina Panthers have signed unrestricted free agent linebacker Keith Adams from the Philadelphia Eagles, the team announced Thursday. Adams, 26, started 16 games for Philadelphia in 2005 and recorded a career-high 101 tackles. He also added 18 special teams tackles after ranking second on the Eagles with 24 special teams tackles in 2004 and leading the team with 30 in 2003. Originally a seventh-round draft choice by Tennessee in 2001, Adams (5-11, 223 pounds) played his rookie year with Dallas before being claimed off waivers by Philadelphia midway through the 2002 campaign. In five NFL seasons, he has played in 67 regular season games with 23 starts and has posted 185 tackles, three passes defensed, and three forced fumbles.</div> This means panthers are good at all positons, and now have 4 different possibilies in the 1st round: 1. Linebacker 2. Running Back 3. Tight End 4. Safety. The good thing is that their is no glaring holes and could go any of those four positons, but they definetly need to draft a LB in the 1st or 2nd round. I love Ernie Sims and D'quell Jackson. I think panthers most likely will mobe up and get Sims
this is a quality signing...that guy is a special teams demon and he provides quality depth on the outside....
The panthers cutting Keith Adams really pissed me off. We kept Vinny Ciurciu instead of adams who had 101 tackles last year. Adams delivered some massive hits in preseason so i dont understand why keep Ciurciu instead ahead of Adams!!! I also dont like the panthers not putting Nate Salley on the roster ahead of kevin mcCadam. Salley is the panthers future safety
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheBeef)</div><div class='quotemain'>Now that Adams is a Dolphins, I really the guy!</div> A bit small for Saban LB as I understand it but he is a veteran and decent on special teams. When in doubt, Trust Nick!
