What Anti-virus programs do you guys use? Just wondering because the Norton one that came with my computer is about to expire and just seeing what other ones are good before I get one.
What I usually do is, not use anything for a long period of time. Eventually I get a virus, then I do a free online scan, either try to find a manual way of get rid of the virus or I download a beta (testing) version of something or a free version and try to get rid of the virus that way. I have a test version of Prevx (no longer available though @ prevx.com) on the desktop, and nothing on the laptop atm.
I use Norton, their programs are great, but their customer service is crap. Weigh your options with that.

Even when you kill the virus, your computer suffers during the time it was infected.
My computers have all gotten viruses before and they haven't suffered performance wise than when they were new.
