http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2007012411 Didn't see much of the game but Wade had a hell of a performance and Kapono stepped up again. He was on fire and nearly won the game with a deep inbounded three but it went in and out. Shaq played sparingly in 14 minutes, going 2-6 from the field and grabbin 5 boards and picking up 3 fouls. I like the outlook for this team with Kapono emerging as a weapon. The Heat were able to use Wade as a decoy at various times in the clutch giving Kapono some nice looks and oppurtunities.
Ya considering how bad we were in foul trouble we played decent. Rothstein needs to use Wright more though.
Kapono has evolved into a real threat. I can't blame him for that last miss, because he had defenders all over him, but he's an incredible three point shooter. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Ya considering how bad we were in foul trouble we played decent. Also I know Shaq was a little rusty but I would've still put him in downlow with Alonzo in the end. Same goes for Jason Williams, in the end Payton was wide open but he gave it back to Kapono, while Kapono had 2 guys on him, J-Will would've shot that immediately and the way hes been shooting lately probably would have gone in. So again, I don't understand some of the subs Ron has been making, but hopefully we can forget about this Loss and build some momentum with Shaq back.
hopefully once riley returns we'll be back on pace and viewed as a amjor threat. rothstein does need to learn who to play and when to play them. i didnt actually see the game, but i followed the live stats and boxscore on nba.com, and i was getting so mad that he wasnt playing dorell, or j-will at the end.
