<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If forward Lamar Odom returns to the court as expected for the Lakers' Friday night game against the Charlotte Bobcats at Staples Center, he will be welcomed back with smiles and chest bumps for many reasons. The Lakers have missed his defensive presence in the middle. They have missed his scoring touch that translated into 17.5 points per game. They have missed his ball-handling skills that translated into 4.9 assists. But most of all, they have missed Odom's contribution on the boards where he was averaging 8.7 rebounds before being sidelined Dec. 12 because of a sprained ligament in his right knee. "He's our best rebounder," said Lakers coach Phil Jackson. "We've been getting killed on the boards. That's such an important part of the game. There's such value in possession of the ball."</div> Source
Well, Charlotte is a good rebounding team and they only got 5 more rebounds than us. Ofcourse Andrew's 16 boards helped us this time. Still, Odom is a passer, rebounder, important guy on defense and our 2nd go-to guy. Great to have him back.
