Powell made a few mistakes but on the whole, for a young big man, he played well and I think he's worthy of backup PF minutes. He's won't block many shots but he keeps his hands up, gets rebounds, and hopefully will get better.

Well Powell looked good. Looks like warriors have a great backup PF/C.

Yeah -- I really liked Powell's energy tonight. He had a sweet touch on the mid-range jumper, battled on the boards and even blocked a few shots. He went against JO every day in practice, and it shows. Despite having little NBA experience, he plays like he's been there. I guess he played overseas for a few years which helps.

BUt he's definately earning a place in Nellie's plans.

Gerald Wallace is impressive. I love his length and athleticism. I would love to have a SF like that! Okafor is not too shabby himself...

Ever since the trade Pietrus has looked very bad. Hes totally lost and when we have so many other options at SG/SF his ignorant play shouldn't be put up with. Once again I must apologize to Barnes for writing him off, though it did take him a DNP for him to realize the error of his ways. Now I think we should salvage Pietrus for something before the trade deadline, there's got to be some contenders or teams battling for the playoffs in the east who need some help at SF and hes just a rental so they don't have to commit to any long contracts. Azubuike may not have the ability to explode and score 10 point in 2 minutes like Pietrus can but hes a GREAT decision maker, very good shooter, good defender, more consistent, good passer, and he belongs in the NBA.

Powell looks pretty good. He played great position/post defense on Okafor tonight, kept Okafor off the glass pretty well. Hes pretty wise for his age and doesn't bite on pump fakes or let other players get good position on him. Solid rebounder as well. Showed a decent mid range jump shot tonight, I had read that he shot well from mid range in college but never got the opportunity to show it. He is a bad finisher around the rim when contested but does draw a lot of fouls down there. Ideally we'd like to have someone a little better and a little bigger to come off the bench but he'll suffice as a guy who can come in, play good inside defense, fight for some boards, and bang around on the inside.

Harrington, Jackson, and Baron all had great games, Barnes was very nice off the bench and since his DNP he's been hitting the glass, taking better shots, and making better decisions much better. Monta and Biedrins both had poor games statistically but they were still playing well in the game.

Good win tonight, we have to win a lot of these games on the road trip coming up.

I thought Pietrus had a nice game from the bits and pieces of the game I watched. He had a couple of dunks and an alley...

What impresses me most about Powell is the confidence I see in him. He doesn't look lost or intimidated. He bangs the O glass which is something that is lacking on this team.

Good win. This is how we should play on a consistent basis.

"Josh Powell is looking like he is going to be a pretty good player. I can certainly use him. I have to give him credit, he knows all the plays and knows where he needs to be on every play. He is a very intelligent player."

Man I fell asleep after the 2nd half. But was there any doubt we'd get a blowout win as long as we'd shoot a respectable % from distance and keep running? The best thing was we rebounded as a team and kept rebounding numbers pretty close (42 gsw - 45 cha). Harrington almost played a perfect game. Very efficient numbers.

I'm glad we didn't underrate the Bobcats because when they're on, they can surprise some pretty good teams. We're not really in the position to disrespect other teams and not get up for them.
