I've heard a few times that Houston doesn't want the #1 pick According to the trade value chart, the #4 & #29 are roughly equivalent. If the jest trade up, they will get Leinart. Houston would possibly end up w/ Ferguson & Lawson.
from kffl.com Gary Myers, of the New York Daily News, reports the New York Jets are smitten with USC RB Reggie Bush, but will not call the Houston Texans about moving up to the top spot to get him, even with Houston willing to listen to trade offers. There are many smokescreens out and about at this time of the year, but Wednesday night, April 19, Texans general manager Charley Casserly insisted that Houston has not decided between the dynamic Bush and North Carolina State DE Mario Williams. Casserly said he hasn't received any offers for the No.1 pick. "It doesn't mean we won't," he said. "We are open to offers." One source believes Casserly is trying to use Williams to create leverage in negotiations with Bush's agent, Joel Segal. Casserly, naturally, rejected that theory and also said he is not trying to entice trade offers by talking up Williams.
Houston is back in the 4-3... i think they'd take D'Brick assuming Williams is off the board and then go with DB or LB with the other pick.. None the less there not going to trade down. You hear it every year and usually the pick stays put and with a plaeyr like Bush on the board I don't think you pass.
I agree, I think he is going to be very good but not the next Barry Sanders as everyone has compared him to, Im thinking maybe more like a Marshall Faulk who iv'e also heard him compared to.

Reggie bush isnt fit to wash faulks jock strap. He is more like kevin faulk talent wise IMO.
Whenever I see Reggie Bush, It reminds me of one guy....Rocket Ismail!....and he had a nice career, but didnt have the career you would expect from a #1 overall....Reggie Bush scares me a little, if I was the Texans GM, id be on the phone right now trying to rape someone....btw, the fact that NO ONE has contacted the Texans about Bush does say something about him as a prospect....all the "draftniks" love the guy, but im not so sure about NFL personel people....
I think the reason no one is talking to Houston about a trade is b/c they've not hyped Bush. Like I said in another thread, I can understand talking up Mario to bring down Reggie's asking price. But in doing so you will hurt your chances of getting a fair trade. If any players are being overrated it's these QBs.
