When Oden does decides to go pro, expect him to be represented by his AAU coach and former Olympic champion Mike Conley.

Conley also is rumored to likely represent Duke sophomore forward Josh McRoberts if he leaves school early.</div>

Wow, I feel bad for the Sixers and Grizzlies who have been tanking lately. One of the positives of sucking this season was the chance to have Oden donning your colors and dominating the paint for the next decade. I'm king of hoping he declares though and the Grizzlies get the top pick. I don't want Greg Oden in the East because he has so much potential and if he lives up the hype it's just another great player standing in the way of a championship for Dwight and the Magic. Arenas, LeBron, Wade, Okafor, Bosh, Oden, and Howard would all be squaring off in the playoffs. It would be exciting but I'd much rather have Greg in Memphis where we don't have to worry about him.

I hope Memphis gets him too, I don't want him in the East. Heck, I just don't want Charlotte to have the chance to draft him.

    PG: Felton
    SG: Morrison
    SF: Wallace
    PF: Okafor
    C: Oden

That is not a team I want in our division.

There's been rumblings that he won't declare since the draft rule was in place. Nothing new.

Still got Durant, your screwed if you get the second pick, and Oden doesn't declare. Between Durant and Oden its a can't miss either way.

I don't see why this is huge news - I have been expecting it ever since the season began and he was still hurt.

We've got to be real here - obviously, the kid is going to be a top 2 pick whenever he declares, but he's still not played a college game at 100%. Add to that the fact that he's part of a young, extremely talented, top 5 team. Why wouldn't a guy in his position want to come back? [IMG]

I guess I'm in the minority here, but if I'm Oden, I'm sticking around for at least another year. Being a superstar on a tremendous college team is as good as it gets, IMO. I don't see why anyone would want to give that up.

this is great for college basketball if he stays. Look at last year when noah and the rest of the gators stayed. This sparks up bigger games and at least for me it interest's me more to watch college basketball. Also ohio state has one of the best incoming players coming in next year including another 7 footer.

    $$$$$$$$$

Oden is going to be worth millions and millions, not only on court, but with endorsement deals and what not also, I'd be out the door in a flash if that kind of money came a knocking.

I agree with you though, he should stay for at least another year, try and refine his game some more, especially considering he is carrying an injury this year.

He could drop if he stays another year. What if he gets injured again? Teams might be weary about him being injury prone. Not to mention OJ Mayo will be in next years draft. How many of the OSU freshman do you guys think will stay?

Joakim Noah is the exception on the money thing because his family is absolutely loaded and he knows he's going to the NBA and he doesn't care where he gets picked. Don't expect to see many more people turn down what Noah did last year.

Mayo isn't even the top player for next year anyways, Derrick Rose is the player everyone is looking forward to now. At beginning of the year I had a feeling Oden wasn't going to be a 1 and done. Now that he has developed a touch with his left hand, this guy is even more deadlier.....
