If the Celtics make that trade there dumb, Jefferson has shown he can be a force its just dumb to trade for the exact same type of player when Jefferson is still young.

Do you watch Pau Gasol? He is a way better player than Al Jefferson.
There borh great post up players and defenders, Pau has a little better outside jumper but hes been in the league longer Jefferson has time to develop one. Jefferson is dominating teams right now why would the celtics want this trade there not in the hunt for anything, pierce is hurt and just because there in the wrost division doesnt mean this will pull it out for them. They have alot of young talent and never seemed to have wanted to but develop young players. If they did wouldnt they have kept Payton and Walker? Jefferson has the body and skills to be a dominating player for many years to come I jsut dont like the trade for what the Celtics have been trying to do but hey i never know what doc rivers is thinking.
