    Saban's draft criteria

    Let me just say that Wanspiel's system made no sense to me but does give insight to how they could pass up Brees for Fletcher and Anquan boldin for Eddie Moore.

    The following are who Nick might pick IMO; Manny Lawson, Chad Greenway, Santonio Holmes, Marcus McNeill, & Jimmy Williams.

    I still say Lawson is the choice. Manny if still available will be the bpa @ #16.

    Ferentz, who coached Greenway at Iowa, is good friends w/ Nick. I'm sure Nick has some inside info. Rumor are the Rams may pick Greenway. I can see them thinking we addressed D enough in FA so they will take Cutler if available. Their logic; Gus is a stop gap and Bulger is injury prone.

    The part I like about Saban is that I have no idea what his board looks like....this guy guards information like the KGB...hes mastered the art of speaking and saying nothing....I wont be shocked by anyone he drafts, and im sure that whover it is, will be the player that Saban deems the most valuable player to the franchise....my gut feeling changes hourly, but right now, Chad Greenway looks logical....

    It will be an OLB selected in the 1st round.

    Sporting News has Miami picking;

    1st) Jimmy Williams
    3rd) Dvoraccek DT Oklahaoma great pick IMO
    4th) Skyler Green WR LSU
    7a) B. Iwuh S Colorado
    7b) Paulescu P Oregon St doubt Nick takes a punter at all
    7c) Quinton Ganther RB Utah great pick especially if Ricky is suspended

    Will Montgomery C/OG Va Tech, Marvin Philp C Cal, or Will Allen OL texas being picked @ 7b instead of a Punter

    I dont see Saban taking a Kicker or Punter, and especially not a Punter....In my opinion, Donnie Jones was the MVP of that football team for the 1st 10 weeks of the season and hes young too....

    I don't think I've ever been this excited about the draft. Saturday can not get here soon enough IMO.

    Not sure if you guys know this or not but Saban and comp is meating with Kamerion Wimbley 3 days before the Draft. I think if he's on the board he'll be the pick. In my mock I have him going to Cleveland but I may drop him because I'm dropping Ngata possibly..
