Control the boards and we win. We should be pumped up to play against a team we should have beat last time they came to the oracle arena. Hopefully they come out of the gates with a lot of energy and continue to get into the passing lanes and come up with some steals to start the fast breaks. We cannot stop Lebron so just contain Snow from penetrating and keep Varejao and big Z off the offensive boards. Go Warriors!

I like the optimism, but wouldn't say it's that simple. GS needs to play tough team defense to have a shot on the road against the Cavs. And, as you say, control the boards.

However, remember how GS got OWNED on the boards by the Cavs last time -- 57 to 45. The Warriors made Varejo look like Moses Malone.

So the Warriors are going to need to get some production from Powell and maybe even Foyle. If they go undersized again they're going to get manhandled inside.

    Go Warriors!

I heard that Lebron may not play because of a sprained toe. Have to win the game if that's true.

LeBron is out for this one. Warriors need to get payback and win.

We better win. Even if we do win, it wont be as satisfying. Oh well, people have feasted on us in spite of our injuries; I say it is time to get some of our own![IMG]

This doesn't increase the Warriors chances at all. Hell, knowing the Warriors it might even increase the chances of a loss.

    Just what I was thinking.

However, I just have a feeling that with the new guys, it won't work quite like that anymore. They have playoff experience, and especially SJax knows how to hang around and steal victories at the end of ball games. It's just a hunch, but it feels like, if anything, once they gel, the Warriors will at least be more consistent.

Afterall -- with Dunleavy, you never knew wtf you were going to get. And Murphy looked pretty much like he didn't really give a sh!t as long as he got his double-dub.

Already, both SJax and Harrington have played important parts in 4th quarter victories and nailed some late clutch free-throws as well.

Well, Sacramento (17-26), Portland (19-27), and Denver (22-20) all lost, so 3 out of 4 is pretty good.

p.s. who beat Denver?.............. the Bobcats.

We can't worry about what the TWolves did against the Suns. KG just put them on his back and carried them in an awesome performance. We just have to win against the Cavs and keep pace. That will put pressure on the teams ahead of us. Getting back to .500 is our goal for now.

Denver was playing at home. How did they lose to the Bobcats???!!!???!!! [IMG]

I just know that the W's need to win at least 3 games on this road trip. If they come back 1-5 or 2-5, kiss the season goodbye...

Ditto, especially since the teams on the trip should be relatively easy.

This roadtrip is an IDEAL chance for the team to develop chemistry with the new guys and establish a team identity. If they step up to the challenge they could come back as a solid, savy group with a winning attitude.

Agree with all of you, this road trip is key. Hopefully Harrington and Jackson will provide some of the consistency, experience, and leadership that we lacked on the road before. If LeBron doesn't play then this is a game we should win as well as the next 3 @ Atl, Philly, and Charlotte. At Indy is pretty tough though very winnable, at Minny is even tougher but also winnable. If we win 4 games that would be a good trip but we are very capable of winning more than that but also could blow the trip and throw the season away.

Right now, the Warriors are capable of anything, including going 6-0 and also going 0-6. It's scary.

3 wins would be great...4 would be epic.

we are going to need to take it to the basket in this road trip in order to win games. If for whatever reason our outside shoots aren't going in we have to stop taking them and try to either get the points or the fouls. I would not feel good about our prospects in the road with our previous version of our team but i feel at least more confident with Al and SJax on our team. If anything else they have more experience with playing Eastern teams more often since they used to be with the Pacers. Today is my B-day so a win would be a nice present to start the road trip[IMG]
