I?m looking forward to watching some Toronto FC games this season (mainly because I?m on withdrawal from missing Juventus), but he never really enticed me to get more interested. It?ll be cool watching him play against crappier competition, though. Juventus - Rise or fall? Slowly, but surely, on the rise. I thought we got very lucky with the amount of top-level players that decided to stay with us this season. There was the all too scary possibility that Juventus would have been stuck in Serie B for a long time (involving the economics of their fan base, etc.). Now that it looks like we?ll be promoted, they?ll have to face an even harder challenge. Most of our top players will be leaving after this season and the owners will have to make smart decisions and show people (players, fans, other owners) that they are committed to re-investing money into the club. This new management has been saying all the right stuff, but we?ll really see what they?re made of next season. At the very least, it?ll be interesting rooting for a crappier Serie A team. Nice answers. Juventus should do fine coming into the Serie A next season as it is obvious they will be promoted as the winners of the B this year. I don't think you'll lose players like Buffon, Del Piero, Nedved and some others, but Trez is likely one foot out the door to the MLS or back to France. Wherever he can get more playing time really. I know how you feel about your club going down though as last season Lecce went down along with Juve, only fairly. I just hope they won't go down to the C1 after this season. My favorite German club Karlsruher SC will ultimately win the 2.Bundesliga so I'm thrilled they'll finally be back in the first division of Germany. They need to keep some older guys like Del Piero and Nedved and allow those two to build the youth into a strong unit for the future. If they do that well enough down the line in three or four years they can compete again.
