I'm going over to my Dad's house with 10 other people have some beer and Pizza. Play Texas Hold'em after the draft on Saturday. Does anyone else have any draft party plans?
My draft party plans have just been killed. I was going to get together with friends, hit a round of golf in the morning, then setup a media center to play games, watch the draft, and generally live an unhealthy day. Instead I'll be at my in-laws camped out in their backroom while my wife meets her new nephew. I gotta say, for as much I enjoy the draft, it has to be the worlds most boring television event for someone not interested in football.
I'm having some friends over for pizza and beer and merriment. Draft Day is about the only day of the year that I start beer consumption before Noon.
Just tell them to watch for the commercials I think I'll be tuning to NFL Network this year. I don't know how many of those ESPN Mobile commercials I can stand.

I carry out my 5 year tradition with a friend of mine. Comes over to my house. We take over the basement with a big screen for Madden or usually NCAA, I'll have a 25 inch TV setup for the Draft to watch. Generally anything that's unhealthy too eat.. and this year I have wireless internet through my house so I'll be able to check up online from time to time.. It's like an extra holiday in my house.

how long is it... lol havent u watched a draft before its all day then goes into day 2 on sunday... me personally i only watch the first round really and then just turn it on every once in a while to see updates

Usually it goes from 11 to 1 on ESPN and then 1 to 5 on ESPN 2. It always runs late. 2nd day is from 10-5 I belive.. That's a long day..
The 1-3 rounds are the only exciting ones. after than i just look on NFL.com to see who the panthers drafted
