<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sonics forward Rashard Lewis, who has missed the past 18 games after undergoing surgery to repair a strained right tendon sheath, will return to practice Feb. 8.

Coach Bob Hill isn't sure how many workouts it will take his star forward to get into game shape, but there's a chance Lewis, who will wear a protective glove, will be available Feb. 10 against Sacramento.

Hill plans to let Lewis decide if he wants to come off the bench or return as a starter in his first game.

When Lewis comes back, Damien Wilkins or free-agent rookie Andre Brown will drop from the rotation. Hill said he prefers a nine-man rotation.

Lewis' return might also prompt more playing time for point guard Luke Ridnour, who lost his starting job Jan. 6 to Earl Watson. Hill has repeatedly said Ridnour plays better with Ray Allen and Lewis because they spread the floor and allow him to create offensively in the middle.</div>

I don't know why Sweet Lew is rushing back. All we are doing now is jockeying for ping pong balls.

I almost wish they'd trade him. I like him too much for him to be subjected to playing for the Supes this year.
