<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Nike hasn't forgotten pitchman Rasheed Wallace. In case you missed the first 25,000 TV airings, Wallace is featured in Nike's "The Second Coming" sneaker ad, which includes other stars like Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash. It's a cool, slick ad with a catchy tune that'll take three hours to get out of your head. In an interview on nikebasketball.com, Wallace said, "The majority of people will probably remember me for my technical fouls or whatever. But if you looked past that, it's just for the passion of the game. I'm not all about no cereal boxes. I'm not all about no big multimillion dollar endorsement deals because that's not what I came in for. I came in here to win championships." And sell shoes. Wallace prides himself on being the "old-school" member of the group. "A lot of the young guys, they are some high-fliers -- until them knees get shot a little bit. I used to be a high-flier, but now I'm more stuck on the ground." In nice shoes.</div> Source
Gotta love Sheed's humor. I to couldn't stand watching him on Portland getting all the tech's. But when he came to the Pistons I actually learned more about him and after watching 82 games you realize that, thats just how bad he wants to win. That will probably be what people remember him by but I always will remember what he brought to the table in '04 and hopefully we can get him 1 more ring before he retires.
